Hair Buddies is a fictional company that produces a package design product that holds children’s hair ties. This was a school project that utilized illustrator and photoshop.

The target audience for this product are children ages 7-12. With this in mind it was important to create characters a child could relate to. The colours and cartoon style also reflect the idea of youth. The box is meant to sit on a desk or counter and provide organization for the hair ties. The front panel lifts up and holds at the top with a magnet. The flowers on the inside are removable and hold up to 12 hair ties each. The idea is that the consumer would build on their Hair Buddies family by collecting different flowers and characters.
